On our production site in Münster more than 160 employees work on high quality and on-time contract development and manufacturing.
Dedicated areas are reserved for the production of oral high potency and low dose products (contraceptives, thyroid hormones, narcotics).
Competent packaging service is also available.

The following dosage forms are produced in Münster:

Our development activities encompass:

• Development of low-dose tablets, film- and sugar-coated tablets containing highly potent active substances, such as sex hormones (oral contraceptives / family planning pills) and all types of anaesthetics in our Formulation Laboratory
• Optimal scaling-up with batch sizes ranging from 1 to 400 kg
• Manufacture of clinical trial samples
• Analysis of clinical trial and development batches
• Packaging / blinding of clinical trial samples and their release

Handling of e.g. sex hormones as highly potent pharmacologically active substances requires increasingly complex facilities and machinery to protect the product, the workforce and the environment.
Haupt Pharma will use the new production facilities to manufacture film- and sugar-coated tablets that will be packed in blisters in a second production step.
The new facility follows the closed and high-containment principle to prevent substances escaping from the machinery and contaminating the surroundings.
The new production facility complies with the latest FDA requirements and can thus also be used for the corresponding US products.
